Black Diamond
About Black Diamond RGV
Black Diamond RGV was founded in 2020 by Jorge Castillo and his wife, Bella Castillo. It started as a mobile car wash, the kind of business built on showing up and doing the work right in front of the customer. That's still how we approach every vehicle that comes through our shop today, even though the shop looks a lot different than it did in 2020.
A Veteran and Family-Owned Establishment
We're a veteran and family-owned business, and that shapes how we run things more than any slogan could. Decisions get made with the same accountability you'd expect from someone who's answered for their work before, and the business is still run day-to-day by the people who started it.
From Military Service to the Shop Floor
Jorge's background brought a certain discipline to how this business operates: inspect before you commit, do the job to a standard, stand behind the result.
That mindset is why we became a Sun Stoppers location and pursued XPEL certification rather than sourcing film from wherever was easiest and calling ourselves detailers.

Certified Standards Behind Every Job
We proudly serve the Rio Grande Valley, and every service we offer, including paint protection film, window tint, ceramic coating, auto detailing, vinyl wrap, paint correction, and commercial and residential window film, traces back to the same two credentials.
XPEL Certified Installer
Our technicians are trained and certified through XPEL, the manufacturer behind the film and coating products we install on every vehicle and every property.
Sun Stoppers Authorized Location
As an authorized Sun Stoppers location, we carry the full XPEL lineup and the manufacturer backing that comes with it, which is what makes our warranty terms mean something beyond a handshake.
About Black Diamond
Meet the Team Behind Black Diamond RGV
Black Diamond RGV was founded in 2020 by Jorge Castillo and his wife, Bella Castillo. What started as a mobile car wash grew, install by install, into a shop known across the Valley for paint protection film, window tint, and ceramic coating. Jorge still leads the shop floor today, and the team he's built brings the same attention to detail to a daily-driver truck as it does to a brand-new Tesla.
Completed Projects
The people doing the work matter more than the name on the sign
Every technician who touches your vehicle has been trained to the same standard Jorge holds himself to, and that consistency, more than any single certification, is what keeps customers coming back with their second and third vehicle.
